Business Intelligence (Internship)

Summary

The Business Intelligence Intern will gather, analyze, and interpret data to deliver actionable insights that drive business decisions. They will work with various tools such as Python, BigQuery, Excel, Tableau, or other relevant BI tools, develop internal reports and dashboards, maintain an event tracker based on product or marketing metrics, collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science teams, and assist with ad-hoc duties. The ideal candidate is a final year student in an analytical field, has strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, fluency in SQL, proficiency in Business Intelligence Software such as Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio, knowledge of Python, and can commit to a minimum 3-month internship. The position offers a monthly pocket allowance, supportive teammates, self development activities, hybrid working arrangement, and an opportunity to broaden knowledge in financial investment.

Requirements

• Final year student in an analytical field (Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in SQL
• Proficiency in Business Intelligence Software such as Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio
• Commitment to a minimum 3-month internship
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement at our South Jakarta office (approximately 2 days of in-office work per week)

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and interpret data to deliver actionable insights that drive business decisions
• Extract, transform, organize, and analyze data using tools such as Python, BigQuery, Excel, Tableau, or other relevant BI tools
• Develop and enhance internal reports and dashboards to meet business and internal requirements
• Maintain an event tracker based on product or marketing metrics to gain insights into user behavior
• Collaborate with the Data Engineering and Data Science teams to build and maintain ETL data pipelines
• Assist with ad-hoc duties and requests from stakeholders as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Python or another programming language is a plus
