Business Intelligence Analyst

Summary

The job is for a Data Analyst at HoYoverse, a company committed to providing immersive virtual world experiences. The analyst will enhance business metrics tracking, maintain and optimize event tracking, design A/B tests, establish monitoring mechanisms, participate in SDK version iterations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field, proficiency in SQL, data analysis tools like Tableau, Excel or Python, statistical knowledge, and A/B testing principles. Excellent communication skills in English and fluent oral Chinese are also required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools including Tableau, Excel or Python
• Familiarity with the whole data lifecycle, including data collection, data warehousing, and data lineage, is prefered
• Sensitive to data, passionate about learning new business logics and features
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and fluent oral Chinese to liaise with teams

Responsibilities

• Enhance the business metrics tracking by understanding business requirements, designing underlying data tables and pipelines, and creating automated dashboards
• Maintain and optimize event tracking for the SDK platform to improve data coverage and the accuracy of business metrics
• Design and implement A/B tests to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of new payment and account functions, providing data-driven insights to support business decision-making
• Establish monitoring mechanisms to promptly detect anomalies, perform attribution analysis and follow up on solutions. Additionally, conduct proactive data analysis to uncover business value and identify potential product improvements
• Participate in SDK version iterations and data requirement management; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data support from business, user-growth, compliance, and legal perspectives
