Summary

Join Braviant as a Business Intelligence Manager to work with internal and third-party data sources, create reports, monitor KPIs, define data governance strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, 5+ years of BI experience, proficiency in SQL, BI tools (preferably Looker), and Agile methodologies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a quantitative discipline
5+ years relevant experience in a BI capacity with experience coaching and managing junior resources
Proficiency in writing concise and performant SQL queries. Familiarity with other database constructs such as views, materialized views, indices, and ETL processes
Proficiency and hands-on experience with at least one BI tool are required (such as, Tableau, DOMO, Power BI or QlikView – experience with Looker is a plus.)
Experience with dashboard creation and with backend data engineering and administration

Responsibilities

Work with internal and third-party data sources to create reports using ad hoc SQL, reporting views, and Looker's business intelligence platform
Develop reporting to monitor various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) over time and maintain and document these solutions to drive long-term business value
Create, maintain, and monitor daily and intra-day data quality checks to ensure the health of the production system and data warehouse reporting
Develop strategies for monetization of the company data assets
Define and implement a data governance strategy to ensure the quality and accuracy of reporting across the organization
Work cross-functionally with finance, product, marketing, and operations to complete ad hoc analysis to help management and other teams understand and interpret business results and outcomes
Manage, onboard, coach, and mentor junior BI resources, as needed
Communicate complex information to a broad range of audiences and act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance/knowledge-sharing with others when needed

Preferred Qualifications

Outstanding knowledge of business and drivers of revenue and cost for companies are key critical to your success. Work experience in the consumer lending industry is a plus but not required

Benefits

$125,000 - $150,000 a year
