Business Intelligence Lead Analyst

Summary

The job is for a Senior Business Intelligence Lead Analyst at Blend, a tech company with over 10 years of experience in big data. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing BI solutions using Tableau, collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring data integrity, optimizing dashboards, managing a team, communicating insights, maintaining knowledge of industry best practices, and fostering a data-driven culture. The position is open to remote work for LATAM residents or onsite at the office.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Business Intelligence projects with a focus on Tableau
• Strong expertise in data visualization and dashboard development using Tableau
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., Redshift, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex datasets
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in a client-facing role
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of BI solutions using Tableau to support business decision-making
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Tableau reports and dashboards
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across different data sources, ensuring accurate and reliable reporting
• Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and scalability
• Manage and mentor a team of BI developers and analysts, providing guidance and technical expertise
• Communicate insights and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations and reports

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses like Amazon Redshift is a plus
