Join Discord's recruiting squad as a Business Recruiter and help level up our business functions! This temporary, US-based role involves supporting hiring across multiple business teams, managing high-volume and specialized searches, and partnering with stakeholders. You will drive recruiting pipelines, analyze data, negotiate offers, and build talent networks. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of recruiting experience in business functions, strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, proficiency in ATS, and excellent negotiation abilities. You'll be juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring quality and positive candidate experiences. The salary range is $132,000 to $148,500 + benefits.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of recruiting experience with a track record of success in business functions (marketing, finance, accounting, HR, sales, trust & safety, legal, policy, and more)
- Problem-solving skills that shine when facing recruitment challenges, even when the solution isn't obvious and you need to develop innovative approaches
- Experience collaborating with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand what they really need and guide them through effective interview processes
- Proficient in applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Greenhouse or Lever, with demonstrated experience managing candidate pipelines through CRM platforms
- The ability to look at recruiting data and say "hmm, that's interesting..." and then use those insights to identify trends and inform strategic decisions
- Solid negotiation skills that help bring candidates and Discord together in harmony, particularly when navigating complex candidate needs
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities in our fast-paced environment while maintaining quality, attention to detail and optimizing recruiting processes

Responsibilities
- Support hiring across multiple business teams, managing both high-volume and specialized searches while navigating nuanced role requirements and competitive talent markets
- Partner with stakeholders across business teams to understand their needs, set clear expectations, and guide them through effective interview processes, addressing blind spots and biases
- Drive recruiting pipelines end to end for various business functions while analyzing data to spot useful trends
- Get creative with negotiation strategies to help candidates see why Discord is their perfect next adventure, even when dealing with complex offers involving multiple stakeholders
- Quickly get the hang of different business roles and develop a solid understanding of where to find amazing talent for each unique function
- Ask the right questions to understand what makes candidates tick, then find the sweet spot where their goals and Discord's needs align while maintaining a high bar for talent quality
- Build and nurture talent networks in the business world that we can tap into when needed, creating pipelines tailored to attract top business professionals
Benefits
The US base salary range for this temporary full-time position is $132,000 to $148,500 + benefits
