Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ERP/MRP systems
• Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with suppliers and internal teams
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decisions

Responsibilities

• Place, track, and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials. Maintain accurate purchase records and proactively resolve discrepancies
• Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and adjust procurement strategies to prevent shortages or excess stock
• Communicate regularly with vendors to confirm order status, resolve delivery issues, and maintain strong working relationships
• Identify and address potential supply chain risks, escalating problems when necessary while implementing proactive solutions
• Ensure all required documentation (Specifications, Certificates of Analysis, SDS, Packing Lists, etc.) is collected and maintained in compliance with internal quality and regulatory requirements
• Work closely with internal teams—including R&D, Quality, and Production—to align procurement activities with business needs and ensure smooth operations
• Maintain accurate procurement records, generate reports on supplier performance, and provide data-driven insights to improve purchasing decisions
• Continuously evaluate purchasing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment
