Summary
Join Zelh, a rapidly growing outsourcing company, as a Buyer! You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate procurement of materials crucial for production. This involves managing purchase orders, monitoring supplier performance, and proactively addressing potential supply chain issues. Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ERP/MRP systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with suppliers and internal teams
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decisions
Responsibilities
- Place, track, and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials. Maintain accurate purchase records and proactively resolve discrepancies
- Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and adjust procurement strategies to prevent shortages or excess stock
- Communicate regularly with vendors to confirm order status, resolve delivery issues, and maintain strong working relationships
- Identify and address potential supply chain risks, escalating problems when necessary while implementing proactive solutions
- Ensure all required documentation (Specifications, Certificates of Analysis, SDS, Packing Lists, etc.) is collected and maintained in compliance with internal quality and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with internal teams—including R&D, Quality, and Production—to align procurement activities with business needs and ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate procurement records, generate reports on supplier performance, and provide data-driven insights to improve purchasing decisions
- Continuously evaluate purchasing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment
