Summary
Join CoreWeave, a leading AI hyperscaler, as a Capacity Planning Analyst and contribute to optimizing server and hardware deployments across our global data centers. Reporting to the Director of Compute Capacity, you will perform scenario analysis, orchestrate capacity projects, and partner with various teams to execute hardware deployment plans. You will analyze demand streams, build forecasts, and create capacity dashboards. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with data management tools, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of prior experience in a planning role, preferably at an infrastructure company
- Comfortable with basic computing concepts and terminology
- Ability to effectively work and communicate with cross-functional teams to coordinate operations and activities between departments
- Experience in managing data structures (i.e. Excel, SQL, Looker/Tableau) to build reports and run analysis
- Ability to make recommendations in an ambiguous environment
- Interest in creating and streamlining processes
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Desire to work in fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Perform scenario analysis with a focus on impact to capacity utilization to advise on infrastructure projects under guidance
- Orchestrate capacity projects as part of larger infrastructure initiatives as it pertains to server, network and data center capacity
- Understand and analyze forecast changes/trends to develop and manage strategic deployment plans
- Partner with Procurement, Logistics, and Datacenter teams to execute and minimize risks on hardware deployment plans across all data centers
- Work with external vendors to determine the 12-mo supply view, address vendor challenges, and impact of hardware version changes
- Develop and maintain capacity dashboards to monitor and manage capacity shifts
- Provide support for sales, product, and external customer teams
- Analyze and understand various demand streams and product trends to deliver robust forecasts
- Build & run โwhat-ifโ capacity usage scenarios to support predictive budget planning and capacity impact
- Apply data analysis to inform business decisions prioritizing operational trade-offs and capital spend
- Distill large data sets to form recommendations to a larger cross-functional team
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure toโor interest inโcloud services, data center, networking and various types of server technology would be beneficial
