Requirements

• Have experience in Enterprise Software-As-A-Service
• Possess impeccable written and verbal communication skills
• Have a Bachelor’s degree
• Have over 5 years of experience in a high-level Finance role
• Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Have experience with and a passion for working with rapidly growing startups and their founders
• Possess strong finance-based analytical skills
• Have the ability to seamlessly juggle hard-hitting CFO deliverables while building strong client relationships
• Possess solid working knowledge of systems such as Excel/Google Sheets, Carta, QBO, Zoom, and other video conferencing tools
• Have expertise in managing various types of revenue streams, contracts, and bookings
• Have knowledge applying revenue recognition standards to enterprise SaaS
• Have a deep understanding of the cost of services for subscription enterprise software
• Have the ability to construct SaaS metrics (retention, lifetime value, acquisition cost, etc)
• Have conceptual and modeling knowledge of churn, virality, and organic/paid growth

Responsibilities

• Support startup clients needing high-level finance help
• Work in a fully remote capacity
• Context shift, communicate, prioritize, and evaluate client needs
• Manage the entire finance function for clients
• Build robust processes and systems for clients
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to author blog posts
• Engage with the Business Development team in closing client business
• Work with the Knowledge Share Lead in creating and delivering knowledge-based presentations with the broader CFO team
• Lead client fundraising efforts – evaluating the size of the round, model cap table scenarios/dilution, assisting with pitch deck preparation, facilitating investor introductions, and participating in investor pitches
• Design the Finance function from the ground up. This includes building out team structures, implementing systems and developing processes
• Drive comprehensive reporting of financial performance, metrics and KPIs
