CG Animator

Summary

Join Atomic Cartoons Inc., an award-winning animation studio, as a CG Animator in our Vancouver studio! Work on exciting CG projects as part of a team, animating sequences of shots within a TV schedule. You will demonstrate strong animation skills, take direction from supervisors, and meet deadlines. This role requires 1+ years of experience in CG animation, proficiency in Maya, and strong communication skills. Requirements

• 1+ years of prior experience as a CG Animator on a CG animated series or feature
• Knowledge of Maya animation tools
• Ability to communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas
• Background in visual arts/design with a strong understanding of form, geometry, and movement
• Currently legally eligible to work in Canada
• Applicants must have resided within BC as of December 31, 2023 and be able to provide the appropriate supporting documents

Responsibilities

• Animate in a team environment on a sequence of shots within a TV schedule
• Demonstrate a strong sense of performance, posing, timing, weight, and lip-sync
• Take direction from Supervisors and Leads
• Meet deadlines as assigned by production management

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of dynamics is an asset
