The Chief Legal & Compliance Officer is a strategic leader responsible for providing legal counsel and overseeing compliance programs at Optimyl Benefits. They will advise senior leadership on various legal matters, manage litigation and disputes, and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate holds a Juris Doctorate degree, has 10+ years of experience in healthcare law, and possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree (JD)
• Licensed attorney in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction
• 10+ years of experience in healthcare law, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role

Responsibilities

• Advise senior leadership on a broad range of legal matters concerning corporate governance, business transactions, and healthcare regulations
• Led the legal team in managing litigation, disputes, and regulatory inquiries
• Oversee contract negotiations and ensure all agreements comply with legal requirements
• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive compliance program that mitigates legal and reputational risks
• Partner with business leaders across the organization to integrate legal and compliance considerations into strategic decision-making
