Summary

Requirements

  • MD degree required; advanced degrees such as MPH, MBA, or MHA desirable but not required
  • Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., internal medicine, family medicine, endocrinology, obesity care, or other related fields to cardiovascular or cardiometabolic health) are required
  • Strong analytical and insight-driven problem-solving skills, with experience implementing clinical quality initiatives that enhance patient safety, outcomes, and satisfaction
  • Proven ability to use data and evidence-based practices to address challenges and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
  • At least 5 years in a strategic leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth, and mission-driven organization
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute innovative clinical strategies that align with business objectives and drive growth while maintaining clinical excellence
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in healthcare delivery, clinical operations, or health services management, including leading multidisciplinary teams in complex and dynamic environments
  • Proven ability to scale clinical care models and improve outcomes in a rapidly growing organization
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate healthcare trends and integrate them into both short- and long-term organizational plans
  • Experience in leveraging emerging technologies, behavioral science, and advanced analytics to redesign care delivery and improve health outcomes
  • A high level of emotional intelligence as evidenced by the ability to understand, motivate, influence, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Proven track record of resilience, empathy, active listening, and navigating complex challenges in a collaborative manner to achieve desired outcomes
  • Self-aware, curious, and adaptable
  • Deep understanding of healthcare management, including finance, operations, quality assurance, technology, compliance, and population health
  • Experience working within value-based care models and integrating clinical and financial goals to drive sustainable success
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding organizational goals through strategic decision-making, sound judgment, and operational excellence
  • Evidence of strong budget management skills and resource allocation to maximize outcomes while managing risk
  • Experience building and leading high-performing clinical teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical protocols, pathways, and guidelines to drive measurable improvements in outcomes and experiences
  • Ensure that care quality is deeply embedded in Omada’s culture and operations, from frontline care teams to product development
  • Oversee clinical research planning and implementation including publications, data analysis, and outcomes
  • Build and mentor a multidisciplinary clinical team passionate about developing and delivering care that transforms lives
  • Advocate for the integration of behavioral science, data analytics, and technology to create personalized, patient-centered care models
  • Represent Omada as a thought leader in the healthcare industry, influencing policy, practice, and innovation
