Civil Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Civil Engineer in the Civil division of LaBella, located in Central Maryland/Northern Virginia. The employee should have 3-5 years' experience and remote working capabilities are negotiable. The job involves contributing to all phases of Civil Engineering projects.

Requirements

• A BS in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology with 3 to 5 years of design experience
• Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and the ability to use either in designing utilities and grading

Responsibilities

Contributing to all phases of Civil Engineering projects including the development of design concepts, performing detailed calculations, collaborating with other engineers and technical staff during detail design, producing effective and high quality drawings and specifications, and supporting projects through construction and final closeout

Preferred Qualifications

• EIT or PE
• Design experience in Maryland (including Forest Conservation Plans, WSSC Utility Plans, Stormwater Management, Erosion and Sediment Control, MDOT and local County/City application submittals)
• Design experience in Virginia (including Erosion and Sediment Control, Stormwater Management, local County/City/VDOT application submittals)
• Renewable Energy Experience
