Clinical Educator

Summary

Join Daniels Health as a Clinical Educator and lead the development of training processes and educational resources for staff and customers. You will implement and educate end-users on medical safety devices, build relationships with industry experts, and support sales, marketing, and operations teams. This role involves providing strategic business direction, delivering expert advice on clinical protocols, and developing new educational materials. You will also conduct peer-to-peer education, assess customer needs, and provide feedback to improve processes. This position offers the opportunity to develop leadership and educator skills in a healthcare setting without direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic business direction for our clinical focus, working with departmental leaders to align business direction
• Deliver authoritative advice on behalf of Daniels to the market with regards to clinical protocols and the effective use of Daniels products, giving professional expertise to end users and Daniels Health staff
• Develop training processes within our business, with the potential to expand a team to support
• Drive the development of new education resources, thought-leadership content and training support material for our customers
• Provide peer-to-peer education and consultation to clinicians, and other healthcare staff in support of end-user education needs in the healthcare setting
• Assess customer needs and assist with resolving issues stemming from lack of knowledge or understanding of the particular product
• Assist in the delivery of medical device-related in-service education to support key customers
• Follow-up with key accounts, sales and operations and customers to assess unmet education and clinical needs as it relates to successful medical device implementation
• Provide customer feedback to corporate teams to improve new and existing processes
• Serve as an education resource on the Daniels suite of devices and processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to travel 50%-60% of the time (nationwide role)
• Clinical training in Infection Control, Nursing and/or Risk Management
• Experience working as a clinical educator / in a commercial setting
• Experience in developing and implementing education through healthcare settings
• Ability and experience in speaking at seminars, conferences, customer presentations. Experienced in supporting sales teams with presentations and proposals
• Understanding of industry regulations and accreditation requirements governing the Daniels Health business model and their application and applicability within clinical setting
• Understanding of clinical outcomes, and how our solutions support this and can be demonstrated to provide value to customers and potential customers
