Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, Health Informatics, Public Health, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in a consulting environment specific to MIPS or quality data reporting
  • Strong understanding of the CMS Quality Payment Program, including electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQMs) and MIPS Clinical Quality Measures (CQMs)
  • Experience guiding clinicians through MIPS reporting and compliance
  • Highly organized with demonstrated project management skills
  • Certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or similar
  • Project management certifications

Responsibilities

  • Stay updated on MIPS regulations and provide expert guidance on strategy and optimization to enhance client success
  • Offer consulting and education to assist practices in understanding and adhering to MIPS program requirements
  • Partner with teams to ensure compliance with Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) criteria while maintaining positive relationships with physicians and office staff
  • Empower team members through skill development, enhancing their confidence, product knowledge, and communication abilities
  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to deadlines while maintaining a focus on quality outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in therapeutic areas such as Ophthalmology, Neurology, or Urology
  • Familiarity with CRMs (Salesforce preferred)
