MDCalc is seeking a part-time Clinical Social Media Manager to develop and execute social media strategies for enhancing their online presence within the medical community. The role involves content creation, community engagement, campaign management, analytics, and staying updated with trends.

Requirements

• Medical professional (MD, DO, Pharmacist, PA, NP, RN) with at least 5 years of practice (including residency)
• Proficiency in and passion for evidence based medicine
• Past publication experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with a focus on medical content

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging and relevant content for MDCalc's social media platforms
• Curate and share content from authoritative sources in the medical field to keep our audience informed and engaged
• Foster and maintain relationships with key influencers, healthcare professionals, and MedEd communities across various social media channels
• Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms to build a positive and interactive online community
• Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote MDCalc's products, features, and educational resources
• Collaborate with internal teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing strategies
• Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and content
• Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical content creation and review
• Established network within the medical community
• Previous involvement with medical societies or associations
• Familiarity with social media platforms and strategies
