Cloud Administrator

Summary

Join Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia as a Cloud Engineer and contribute to maintaining service quality for customers. You will administer cloud-based technologies, deploy new features, and engage in Python/Java/Perl programming within a DevOps and Agile environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting incidents, creating technical documentation, participating in R&D projects, and collaborating internationally. The role requires experience in cloud management, security, and server administration, along with specific certifications and language proficiency. Remote work is possible within Slovakia.

Requirements

• Have secondary education in information technologies
• Have general basic knowledge in Cloud Mgmt (e.g., Entra-ID, Teams, Sharepoint Online) – 3 years’ experience
• Have good experience with Cloud Security (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Defender XDR)
• Have experience with ICT Systems – 3 years’ experience
• Have verified certification in a given platform
• Have intermediate experience with Windows server administration
• Have basic experience with Linux server administration
• Have basic experience with Cloud Networking
• Have intermediate experience with Active Directory
• Have intermediate experience with Backup and storage
• Have knowledge of Agile methodology and DevOps overview
• Speak English – Upper intermediate (B2)

Responsibilities

• Administer cloud-based technologies
• Install and deploy new features and OS to Azure cloud environment
• Program in Python within Open Source Frameworks, Java, or Perl
• Work based on a DevOps model
• Develop according to Agile methodology – SCRUM
• Cooperate in the implementation and testing of developed solutions
• Create technical documentation
• Apply a creative approach to complex solutions and technologies
• Actively participate in research & development projects
• Investigate and analyze the root cause of incidents and initiate corrective actions
• Conform to internal work instructions and process guidelines within DTAG
• Follow defined escalation standards in case of deviations
• Investigate the root cause of incidents and initiate actions to improve or correct the situation
• Participate in regular and/or irregular communication with colleagues in an international environment to ensure operational goals
• Participate in on-call duties, independently solving and troubleshooting incidents and errors within defined expertise
• Coordinate the use of internal technical support and vendor support to ensure troubleshooting, maintenance, and efficient end-user support
• Train and participate in the education of other employees
• Perform team-specific non-technical tasks such as quality/process/reporting to support daily operation
• Create, change, and delete user accounts

Preferred Qualifications

• Have MCSA – Microsoft Certified Solution Associate certification
• Have Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification
• Speak German
