Summary

The job is for an Infrastructure Engineer at ERP Suites who will provide support for IT infrastructure issues, implement and optimize backup and disaster recovery strategies, and maintain documentation. The position can be remote but may require occasional travel. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, mastery of AWS or OCI support and design, experience with data protection and disaster recovery, knowledge of industry-standard hypervisors, familiarity with specific tools, and at least 10 years of experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (master’s degree is a plus)
• Mastery of AWS or OCI support and design, with strong disaster recovery skills
• Experience with data protection and disaster recovery
• Knowledge of industry-standard hypervisors (certification is a plus)
• Familiarity with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, CloudFormation, AWS IAM, AWS ELB, Veeam
• 10+ years of experience preferred
• Comfortable with VMware in various configurations and versions
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide support for incidents and service requests related to IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, data protection, and virtualization
• Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure components, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability
• Implement and enforce security best practices in the cloud environment
• Stay informed about the latest security threats and proactively address vulnerabilities
• Work closely with development and operations teams for seamless integration of applications and services
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture and processes
