Cloud Engineer

Summary

Join PolicyMe, a modernizing life insurance company, as a Cloud Engineer! You will build, support, and enhance the infrastructure driving our growth. Work with engineering teams, improve infrastructure security, develop and maintain scalable infrastructure, and enhance CI/CD pipelines. This role requires 2+ years of experience, a BS in Computer Science, AWS and UNIX/Linux experience, proficiency in Shell scripting and Python, and strong analytical and communication skills. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience
• BS degree in Computer Science
• Experience working in AWS and UNIX/Linux environments
• Proficiency in Shell scripting and automation
• Proficiency in Python
• Ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, debugging and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering teams to build proper tooling to help them succeed
• Continuously evaluate and improve the security of our infrastructure
• Develop and maintain infrastructure to scale
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines to continue to serve new use cases
• Analyze and configure environments to ensure that systems are secure against cybersecurity threats
