Cloud Solution Architect

Summary

Join Encora as a Cloud Solution Architect and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and improve software development practices. This remote Latin America-based role requires expertise in Azure cloud solutions, strategic planning, and strong software development experience. You will serve as the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) Lead during transitions, owning the Statement of Work (SoW) and ensuring adherence to project plans. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in a related field, Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification, and +5 years of experience.

• Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications
• Professional/ Advanced English skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) Lead during transitions, owning the Statement of Work (SoW), scheduling project kickoffs, and ensuring adherence to project plans and standards
• Develop and execute a forward-thinking Azure cloud strategy aligned with organizational objectives
• Design Azure-based solutions focused on resilience, scalability, and security, ensuring they surpass industry standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in developing and executing strategic plans for cloud adoption and transformation, with a focus on Azure environments. Capable of making informed decisions that align with both technical and business objectives
• Deep understanding of Azure cloud architecture, services, and best practices. Skilled in designing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions that meet organizational needs
