Summary
Join Twilio's Segment Sales team as a Commercial Account Executive. This role focuses on selling Segment's Customer Data Platform to mid-market clients, leading the full sales cycle from landing new logos to expanding existing accounts. You will build upon the growth and adoption of Segment's mid-market clients, lead compelling presentations, and develop expansion opportunities. The position requires strong sales experience in SaaS, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. This is a remote role based in the United Kingdom with approximately 25% travel required. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a closing role at a SaaS provider, with a record of top performance
- Experience selling complex SaaS solutions - You know what it means to navigate a complex organization and build value with business and technical stakeholders
- Experience working in team selling environments

Responsibilities
- Build upon the growth & adoption of Segment Mid-Market clients, up to 2000 employees
- Lead compelling presentations of Segmentβs product and vision to a broad range of audiences from c-level executives to individual contributors
- Develop expansion opportunities from our existing customer base and land new target accounts
- Provide timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively handling your pipeline of opportunities
- Partner with and coordinate cross-functional internal teams (Sales Development, Legal, Engineering, Security, Marketing, Product) to efficiently navigate complex sales cycles
- Engage in team development and mentoring
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling for mid-market clients
- Cross selling experience in IT, Marketing, Data, Analytics and Engineering
- Business value selling experience
- MEDDIC, Command of the Message and Challenger experience
