Requirements
- 2 - 3+ years of experience in knowing how to build commercial buildings and what it costs to do so for a large-scale professional commercial construction environment
- Strong accountability and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional relationship-building capabilities
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking abilities to dissect bid proposals
- Tech-savviness, particularly proficiency in O365 suite applications including Outlook, Word, Β Excel, MS Project, MS Teams
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present accurate, competitive bids for construction projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors
- Conduct post-bid negotiations to close business with clients
- Collaborate with the Director of PreConstruction and manage multiple projects of varying sizes
- Enhance the customer experience by offering value engineering options in every bid
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D take-off software to help prepare presentations for bids
- Experience in using BuildingConnected
- Experience with EOS Worldwide
- Experience in Jonas Premier cloud-based software for project management and Building Connected cloud-based software for estimating
Benefits
- Salary : $3000 - $3500* per month depending on your experience
- Full-time : Fully remote role
- Paid Time Off : 20 days per year, which includes public holidays
- Holiday Pay - all major holidays including Christmas & New Year's Eve if falling on weekends
- Concentrated Time Off (CTO) Work Shifts (aka β8.5/80β Plan). The team follows a 2-week Work Shift (80 hours, 10 working days) that incorporates 8.5-hour days, Monday through Thursday (adding 2 hrs weekly), with every other Friday requiring only a 4-hour shift (1/2 day).Thatβs approximately 26 Friday afternoons OFF!
