Commercial Litigation Associate

Summary

Join a top national law firm as a Commercial Litigation Associate in Midtown Manhattan (remote option available). This position requires 3–5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, including legal research, factual investigation, eDiscovery, drafting pleadings, depositions, motion practice, client communication, and mediation. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials, superior communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. A background in employment-related litigation and familiarity with AI legal research tools are preferred. The firm offers a full benefits package, including a bonus, and the position is based in Kansas City, but other office locations or virtual options are possible.

Requirements

• Have experience handling all phases of complex commercial litigation, including legal research, factual investigation, eDiscovery (preferably with Relativity), drafting pleadings, taking depositions, motion practice, client communication, and mediation
• Hold an active bar license in the relevant jurisdiction or be willing to obtain one promptly
• Have 3–5 years of experience only
• Demonstrate strong academic credentials, sound judgment, superior communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
• Show a commitment to community involvement and a collaborative, proactive approach to legal practice
• JD and hold an active NY bar license
