Requirements

  • To be eligible you must be an undergraduate student in a placement year course returning to study Autumn 2026
  • You also will need to have the right to work in UK already in place
  • Communication: you are known for building strong relationships in and outside of your core studies
  • Drive: demonstrates a level of resilience to overcome objections and have a “can do” attitude to delivering personal goals
  • Attention to detail: everybody makes mistakes, even the most detail oriented employee. You will be detail oriented by nature, able to fail fast and prioritise effectively ensuring quality on sometimes tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the team in finding up-sell opportunities
  • Creating lead-generation campaigns for net new and existing customers alongside Account Execs
  • Involvement in account planning and mapping exercises with sales team
  • Undertake campaigns with Marketing around specific business propositions and market awareness
  • Manage accurate administration of our lead/contact management system (Salesforce.com)
  • Leading operation sales projects such as analysing and improving lead conversion rates

12 month work placement as part of degree | Central London based (Old Street) | July 2025 start date | £27,500 per annum

What does an Commercial Account Executive Placement Student actually do?

You will work with the highest performing sales team in EMEA. Every day will be different and you will have the opportunity to work with Account Execs and Sales Directors on strategic and tactical projects. You will help support the team in sourcing opportunities, analysing territories and improving processes to help the team keep closing business!

What does that mean day to day?

  • Supporting the team in finding up-sell opportunities.

  • Creating lead-generation campaigns for net new and existing customers alongside Account Execs.

  • Involvement in account planning and mapping exercises with sales team.

  • Undertake campaigns with Marketing around specific business propositions and market awareness

  • Manage accurate administration of our lead/contact management system (Salesforce.com).

  • Leading operation sales projects such as analysing and improving lead conversion rates.

WHO YOU ARE

  • To be eligible you must be an undergraduate student in a placement year course returning to study Autumn 2026, you also will need to have the right to work in UK already in place.

  • If you are studying something Business or Management related it would be a plus, however from experience you don’t need a specific degree background to be successful as a placement student in box.
