Summary
Join Protective Life's Asset Protection Division as a Change Management Communication Associate and help millions by providing protection and peace of mind. This critical role blends project management and corporate communications to manage and facilitate change within APD Operations. You will lead change initiatives, drive stakeholder engagement, deliver strategic communications, analyze impact, support training programs, measure success, and advance strategic goals. This position requires proven experience in project management and corporate communications, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. A bachelor's degree in a related field or 5+ years of relevant experience is required. The salary range is $56,000-$75,000 a year, plus additional incentive opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in both project management operations and corporate communications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (moderate to advanced)
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization
- Adaptability and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in a PR, Marketing, or Business-related field or 5+ years of relevant experience in change management or communications
Responsibilities
- Lead Change Initiatives : Develop and implement change management strategies that support project goals and promote a positive change culture
- Drive Stakeholder Engagement : Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, coordinate change activities, and ensure alignment across teams
- Deliver Strategic Communications : Create clear, engaging content (emails, memos, presentations) that informs and inspires action
- Analyze Impact : Assess how changes affect people and processes, identify risks, and guide communication and training efforts
- Support Training Programs : Collaborate on the design and delivery of training to support successful change adoption
- Measure Success : Establish metrics, track progress, and report outcomes to stakeholders
- Advance Strategic Goals : Partner with business leaders to align change efforts with organizational priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred
- Familiarity with change management methodologies and tools is a plus
- Industry designations or certifications (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) are a plus
