Requirements

  • Proven experience in a comms role, ideally across internal and external comms
  • First class writing ability – you will need to be talented wordsmith, who loves to write
  • Experience of devising and executing communications plans in a professional environment
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Results-driven with the aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced, ambitious scale-up business

Responsibilities

  • Implement a best-in-class internal comms plan to improve employee engagement, including executing our internal newsletter, Team Leader Briefings, and internal-facing comms platforms
  • Use your writing skills, creativity, and knowledge of comms channels to ensure that our largely remote working organisation is connected and up to date with the latest news and key business information
  • Proactively seek out and bring to life the brilliant stories within the business by building strong relationships across departments
  • Work with a small cross-functional team to deliver our internal events
  • Work alongside our PR and Public Affairs agency to support all activities, including drafting press releases to the highest standard and organising visits to our Habitat Bank for journalists and government stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, our landowner partners, and clients to create brilliant stories that bring to life Environment Bank's positive impact
  • Support with content for social media, reports, presentations, FAQ documents, case studies and brochures

Preferred Qualifications
