Summary

Join Planet Technologies, a leading Microsoft services provider, as a Compliance Architect. Lead the Compliance team, ensuring efficient operations, objective achievement, and exceptional client service. Guide architectural aspects of projects, aligning them with organizational goals and maintaining high quality. This leadership role requires deep industry knowledge, strong leadership, and proven project management skills. You will develop and standardize service offerings, create strategic roadmaps, and foster innovation. The position demands expertise in compliance frameworks (CMMC, NIST, CIS, GDPR) and Microsoft tools (Compliance Center, Azure Policy).

Requirements

  • Hold at least three (3) active Industry certifications associated with the core and related technologies or equivalent industry experience
  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related field, and at least five (5) years of experience in the core technology area
  • Have ten (10) years of experience within the technology field with at least five (5) years of experience with the core and related technologies
  • Hold a project management-related certification or equivalent experience
  • Know applicable regulatory compliance frameworks (CMMC, NIST, CIS, etc.)
  • Oversee data protection and information security measures
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Compliance Center, Compliance Manager, and related capabilities
  • Have working knowledge of Microsoft capabilities supporting Compliance within Azure Workloads (e.g., Azure Policy, Azure Blueprints)
  • Understand the global regulatory landscape and monitor compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Implement controls and measures to ensure regulatory compliance within Microsoft environments
  • Conduct compliance audits, assessments, and gap analyses
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure adherence to compliance requirements and legal standards (e.g., GDPR)
  • Assess and manage compliance-related risks, including developing risk mitigation strategies
  • Communicate compliance-related risks to business leadership and stakeholders
  • Engage effectively with clients to understand organizational and compliance needs and provide strategic guidance
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills to guide the practice team and foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

  • Demonstrate effectiveness in organizational leadership, team building, coaching, and strategic planning
  • Work in compliance frameworks such as CMMC, NIST, CIS, and GDPR
  • Use Microsoft Compliance Center, Azure Policy, and related tools to manage regulatory requirements
  • Conduct audits, implement controls, and communicate compliance risks across diverse business units
  • Develop strategic plans and roadmaps
  • Manage client relationships and projects, and assess and mitigate risks
  • Communicate effectively across executive and operational levels internally and with clients
  • Support business development and proposals
  • Foster a continuous improvement and innovation mindset

Benefits

Salaries range from $150,000 to $200,000
