Summary

Join Crypto.com's Local Programs and Regulatory Compliance team as a Compliance Data Manager. You will support the Global Regulatory Reporting team in meeting global licensing and tax reporting obligations by developing a strong understanding of Crypto.com's products and data flows. This hands-on role requires expertise in SQL, Python, and data analytics to support timely and accurate regulatory reporting. You will design and implement CARF/DAC8 tax reporting, manage data preparation and delivery for global regulatory reporting, and leverage Agile methodologies to manage tasks. Collaboration with stakeholders across Global Compliance is crucial to ensure data satisfies requirements from regulators and partners. You will also develop efficient procedures for key reporting tasks and document processes for clarity and consistency. This position is ideal for someone comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams and time zones.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to write efficient SQL queries across large datasets, with attention to performance and data accuracy
  • Experience using Python or similar languages for data processing or automation
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global, multicultural environment
  • Ability to apply a strategic and structured approach to problem solving
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
  • Exposure to cross-functional projects and intercompany initiatives, with occasional need to collaborate outside regular hours to accommodate colleagues in different time zones

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and implementation of upcoming CARF/DAC8 tax reporting by defining data requirements, writing SQL queries to extract data, and validating results for accuracy and completeness
  • Support global regulatory reporting obligations (e.g., EMI, MiFID) by managing the preparation and delivery of required data, ensuring all tasks within scope are completed
  • Manage and update related tasks in our Jira ticketing systems, including commenting and providing status updates
  • Leverage standard Agile or SCRUM methodologies (i.e. Jira boards) to manage tasks and workflows
  • Assist in enforcing the appropriate prioritization and communicative standards for ad-hoc requests and ongoing tasks
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders across Global Compliance to understand, scope, prioritize, and deliver data that satisfies requirements from regulators (i.e., UK FCA, CBI, MFSA), financial partners, and internal leadership
  • Develop clear and efficient procedures for key reporting tasks, and explore new tools and processes that improve how data is prepared and shared with colleagues and customers
  • Document processes and workflows to ensure clarity and consistency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to financial services, with a focus in regulatory and/or tax reporting within the banking or fintech industry a plus
  • Understanding of cryptocurrencies or a strong interest in learning
