Summary

Join Thyme Care as a Compliance Manager and help administer our Clinical Compliance program, ensuring adherence to regulations and standards. You will facilitate risk assessments, monitor regulatory changes, develop policies and procedures, and provide compliance guidance to the care team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, spearhead audit readiness, and contribute to a culture of compliance and patient safety. This role requires deep expertise in compliance practices, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex situations. The position reports to the Director of Clinical Compliance and offers a remote or hybrid work option in NYC or Nashville. The base salary is $125,000-140,000.

Requirements

  • Have deep expertise and knowledge of compliance practices and industry standards
  • Have experience articulating complex information and navigating sensitive discussions
  • Have a Bachelorโ€™s degree in a related field (healthcare administration, business administration, or pre-law) and at least 3 to 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance
  • Have a professional compliance certification (CHC, CHPC) or the ability to obtain it within 18 months of hire
  • Be skilled in juggling multiple tasks and working under pressure without sacrificing organization and quality in your communications and documentation
  • Be articulate, but always start with listening and hear what may not be voiced, because you listen so intently to others
  • Build rapport and great working relationships with members and colleagues
  • Understand that rapid changes to the business, strategy, organization, and priorities are par for the courseโ€ฆ and part of the adventure
  • Know how to identify and prioritize competing areas of focus and do what it takes to ensure that urgent and important needs are addressed immediately

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate risk assessment, monitoring, and auditing activities to proactively identify potential areas of vulnerability and non-compliance
  • Guide development and implementation of risk reduction strategies and corrective action plans to address identified issues and monitor effectiveness of plans
  • Stay apprised of changes in healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards and analyze their impact on care delivery operations and disseminate relevant information to stakeholders
  • Develop, review, and revise care delivery policies and procedures to ensure they are current, compliant with regulatory and accreditation requirements, and effectively implemented
  • Serve as a resource to care team members by researching compliance-related inquiries and providing clear, actionable guidance on how to operationalize compliance requirements
  • Perform reviews of concerns, incidents, and complaints and conduct root cause analyses to define remediation steps and measures to prevent recurrence
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a coordinated and transparent compliance approach to support safe, quality care delivery
  • Spearhead continuous audit readiness activities and help coordinate engagement with regulatory and accreditation bodies
