Compliance Manager

Summary

The job is for a Compliance Manager at YouGov, responsible for delivering exceptional compliance management across global operations. The position offers flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement. Essential requirements include demonstrable UK and Global experience, proficiency in investigative skills, strong numerical and analytical abilities, and experience as a trainer (in-person and remotely). Preferred qualifications include experience of implementing an ISO or SOC 2 standard management system, experience in data security and privacy, and ICA qualification.

Requirements

• Experienced drafting policies and procedures; developing new processes
• Proficient in investigative skills
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities, as the role involves data analysis

Responsibilities

• Deliver compliance oversight and management for our stakeholders
• Oversee and manage compliance across all areas of the business
• Support business continuity planning and develop new compliance policies
• Investigate and respond to alleged violations of our compliance policies
• Lead the annual risk review process and manage the corporate risk register
• Be the go-to person for advice on compliance matters
• Embed new compliance practices into the business
• Identify areas of inefficiency and create new processes to resolve them
• Develop and deliver management information on Governance Department activities
• Drive compliance with mandatory training
• Be the Compliance advisor to the Data Privacy & Security Committee
• Manage submissions to the Ethics Committee
• Manage 2 direct reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience of implementing an ISO or SOC 2 standard management system
• Experience in data security and privacy
• ICA qualification
