Summary

Join Presence, a leading provider of teletherapy solutions, as a Compliance Specialist! In this pivotal 6-month temporary role, you will support providers in obtaining licenses and clearances, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district regulations. You will manage cross-licensing processes, oversee internal compliance systems, and create compliance-related materials. The role involves collaborating with various teams, serving as a liaison with licensing boards, and managing compliance data. This position is remote, with a flexible schedule of 30 hours per week (12 pm-5 pm EST, Monday-Friday). The ideal candidate possesses 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, strong knowledge of industry regulations, and exceptional communication skills.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience as a licensing/compliance specialist or similar position
  • Strong knowledge of industry processes and regulations
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Prior experience using Salesforce or another CRM solution
  • Experience working with complex systems and processes
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills demonstrated through email, video and audio calls, and internal meetings

Responsibilities

  • Cross licensing
  • Proactively support providers in obtaining licenses to create placement opportunities, increase speed to billing, and to maximize provider utilization
  • Provide compliance support to teams including, but not limited to, Provider Empowerment, Finance, Recruiting, Sales, and Legal as needed
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on provider licensing, background checks, and other related requirements for various provider disciplines (ie, SLP, OT, School Psychologist, etc.)
  • Manage cross-licensing process
  • Oversee internal monitoring and auditing systems to ensure providers stay compliant with state and organizational requirements for teletherapy services
  • Create attestation letters, email templates, and/or forms to fulfill school district requests and state board licensing requirements
  • Enroll providers in new training courses and monitor completion of courses
  • Build relationships with and serve as the Presence liaison to the state licensing boards and with virtual school coordinators
