Join Opal Group, a company organizing premier live conferences for top executives. As a Conference Producer, you will coordinate all event aspects, from researching and creating new conference topics and agendas to recruiting speakers and developing marketing strategies. This role involves 80% remote work with 20% travel. You will conduct market research to develop conference agendas, analyze research to create commercial programs, identify and invite speakers, and build relationships with key professionals. You will also oversee virtual and live conferences and collaborate with a cross-functional team for successful marketing and sponsorship. Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in conference production, with a proven track record of producing conferences that generate large revenue
- Proficiency in organizing events and managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics and emerging trends in the conference industry
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement

Responsibilities
- Conduct and research potential attendees and sponsors in a target market to develop conference agendas
- Analyze research and use critical thinking to develop commercial conference programs that meet the stated needs of the market
- Identify, invite and confirm appropriate speakers for conferences
- Establish and maintain relationships with key professionals, industry leaders, senior executives, and media within relevant vertical markets
- Attend and oversee virtual and live conferences, including providing an opening introduction, speaker assistance, and support
- Work with and support a cross-functional team on an ongoing basis to ensure successful marketing and sponsorship of conferences
