Summary

Core Scientific is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee all aspects of construction projects related to their innovative technology infrastructure, including Bitcoin mining and potential expansion into AI and HPC technology. The role involves setting up project budgets, coordinating resources, ensuring timely delivery, and managing changes to the project scope, among other responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 5 years of experience in Construction Project Management required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Proficiency in reading construction drawings, plans and specifications required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite required

Responsibilities

  • Set up project budgets, contracts and schedule of values in Procore
  • Coordinate internal resources, contractors, and suppliers for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Work with contractors and suppliers to develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Establish and manage the relationship with the contractors and suppliers
  • Perform risk management assessments to minimize project risks. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs
  • Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team and with co-workers/ teammates and leaders across the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, which may include Construction Management, Computer Science, Business, or Engineering preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), and/or comparable project management certifications preferred
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills preferred
