Consultant Data Engineer

Summary

Join Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions, a leading ICT employer in Hungary, and contribute to the analysis and optimization of IT solutions within a large-scale service reporting environment. You will analyze existing databases, model data flows, and design a target architecture for data processing. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, along with expertise in data modeling and various technologies. Familiarity with Telekom systems and German language skills are preferred but not mandatory. Remote work is possible within Hungary.

Responsibilities

• Analyze IT solutions within the entire service reporting environment: Conducting interviews with architects, data engineers, and software developers
• Analyzing the contents of existing databases (>100) and their interfaces with each other and other source systems
• Creating suitable models that describe databases, information flows, and data products, as well as their relationships: Visualization of data flows within the solutions at the technical level
• Description of data products and their complexity in IT representation
• Deriving concrete measures to harmonize and reduce the complexity of existing IT solutions: Identifying solution-specific variations of identical information
• Designing a target architecture for all technically necessary data processing and the required interfaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Telekom (preferred but not mandatory)
• German language skills (preferred but not mandatory)
• Data Products / Data Mesh (preferred but not mandatory)
• Business process modeling (preferred but not mandatory)
• Python in the context of pipelines (preferred but not mandatory)
• C# (preferred but not mandatory)
• Snowflake (preferred but not mandatory)
