Summary
Join SpecterOps, a cybersecurity solutions provider, for an 11-week summer internship (June 2 - August 15, 2025). This remote internship, based in the U.S., offers students hands-on experience working alongside industry experts on real-world projects within the Consulting team. You'll collaborate on a Capstone Project and participate in SpecterOps training courses. The internship requires a commitment to the full 11 weeks (20-30 hours/week) and introductory programming/scripting experience. Successful candidates will be pursuing a degree in a related technical field and authorized to work in the U.S. The hourly salary is $35.00.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related technical discipline
- Ability to commit to an 11-week internship (20-30 hours weekly)

- Introductory level programming/scripting experience
- Candidate must be authorized to work and reside in the United States
Responsibilities
- Assist Red Team Operators and Penetration Testers on real-life engagements
- Collaborating with the SpecterOps Internal and Community Products team, as well as the Technical Services team to identify and complete a Capstone Project over the course of the internship
- Building your knowledge of attacker tradecraft and detection techniques by taking top-of-the-line hands-on training courses taught by industry practitioners
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience completing online or in-person CTF competitions (Hack the Box, TryHackMe, etc.)
- Current member of a campus Cyber Security club
- Previous Cyber Security-related conference attendance
