Content Enrichment Specialist - Tagalog

Summary

Join our team as a Content Enrichment Specialist and review video content in Tagalog for our client based in the Philippines. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, reviewing video content to identify trends, applying cultural awareness to your work, and identifying target audiences for marketing campaigns. Fluency in English and Tagalog, along with a strong understanding of Philippine pop culture and social media trends, is essential. This is a short-term, remote contract position (4-6 weeks, 10-30 hours per week) offering a flexible work environment. Occasional holiday work may be required with compensatory pay or a floating holiday provided. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, relevant experience in content moderation or review, and familiarity with various social media platforms.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Tagalog
• Bachelor’s degree or experience in relevant job or industry
• Experience with content moderation, content review, curation, or similar roles
• Knowledge of Philippines culture, traditions and social media landscape
• Strong understanding of digital streaming products, particularly video and its ecosystem
• The ability to review information with an analytical and objective mindset in a fast paced environment
• A keen interest in/knowledge of pop culture, social media trends and creators, and trending video content
• Strong familiarity with memes, hit songs and content trends in pop culture including music, dance, gaming, beauty, fashion, film, TV, pets, comedy, and/or sports
• Familiar with popular social media platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, Clubhouse, etc

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in our content enrichment and editorial divisions to create comprehensive decks for our client
• Review video content to identify patterns or trends in video content
• Apply a keen awareness of the cultural and political climate to all work
• Identify cultural and demographic target audiences for marketing campaigns
• Additional responsibilities as assigned
• Must be available to work occasional holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working remotely and within multicultural teams
• Experience with copywriting and proofreading, preferably with a focus on entertainment content
• Comfortable working with Google Suite, with spreadsheets and other data management tools
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in guidelines, workflows, and tools
• Familiarity with the current local social media landscape such as key influencers and trends
