Summary

Join Thunderbird, a growing, global, free, and open-source email and productivity app, as a Marketing Specialist. This remote, full-time position will have you supporting the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, creating engaging content, managing digital campaigns, and collaborating with various teams. You will monitor campaign performance, research industry trends, and identify process improvements. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of marketing experience across digital, content, social media, or PR, proficiency with marketing tools, and strong analytical skills. Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional, post-graduate marketing experience across digital, content, social media, and/or PR
  • Proficiency with marketing tools including email platforms, CRMs, content management systems, and social media schedulers
  • Strong experience using analytics tools to track performance and optimize campaigns
  • Ability to write and edit compelling content for blogs, social media, and email campaigns
  • Experience supporting communication and marketing activities for a global customer base
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving and campaign ideation
  • Ability to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and identify opportunities for growth
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to execute campaigns
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, small-business environment and taking on diverse marketing responsibilities
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work with a multi-disciplinary, geographically distributed team

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns to support brand awareness, user acquisition, and retention
  • Create engaging content for blog posts, social media, email campaigns, and web pages
  • Manage paid and organic digital campaigns, including SEM, social media advertising, and SEO efforts
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to inform strategy and improve ROI
  • Collaborate with product, community, and design teams to ensure cohesive messaging and brand alignment
  • Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person events, including webinars and trade shows
  • Support the development and formatting of newsletters, including Thunderbird Pro and other product communications
  • Research industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with external agencies, freelancers, and vendors to execute specialized marketing projects
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance marketing efficiency and effectiveness

Preferred Qualifications
