Content Lead

Summary

Join Blockworks, a leading financial media brand, as a Reporter to contribute to The Drop, our newest newsletter focused on the application layer of Web3. You will craft daily short-form and longer newsletter articles, conduct interviews with industry leaders, and create supporting online content. This role requires experience in crypto journalism and a deep understanding of Web3, NFTs, and gaming. Requirements

• Be an experienced writer familiar with the crypto space, Web3, tech, and decentralized protocols
• Demonstrate success in producing and publishing crypto-related journalism or online content
• Possess familiarity with web3 gaming, NFTs, and the ability to explain them to novice readers
• Use crypto tools, protocols, and software personally and be an active member of the crypto Twitter/X community
• Be able to work autonomously and meet demanding production deadlines in a flexible, fast-moving environment

Responsibilities

• Write Daily Contributions: Produce daily newsletters in collaboration with the team
• Write Voicy, Analytical Journalism: Craft content that fills The Drop Newsletter's niche
• Conduct Thoughtful Interviews: Proactively interview founders, developers, investors, and other industry leaders
• Craft Supporting Content: Produce web articles, social media posts, and other online content
• Grow an Audience: Partner with the Blockworks team to expand the newsletter's reach

Preferred Qualifications

• Have previous experience working in crypto media or other content-related companies
• Possess a personal interest in gaming, NFTs, web3, and a strong knowledge of key players in the crypto industry
• Have a deep understanding of the audience for crypto information and analysis
