Responsibilities

• Craft clear, concise, and engaging user experiences for veterans
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that our digital products are intuitive, accessible, and meet the needs of our users
• Write and edit plain language text in digital products (like online forms, apps, or other online services) describing complex government services
• Utilize Figma
• Liaison, coach and persuade designers, product managers or other government staff to use plain language
• Provide content writing, editing and coaching to other teams developing digital products at VA
• Collaborate with SMEs, interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
• Audit content and work within complex information architecture
• Carefully follow detailed content style guides and design systems
