Requirements
- 5+ years in a content marketing role
- Proven experience creating content across formats (email, blog, social, landing pages, guides, etc.)
- Strong editing skills, with the ability to refine content and formatting for clarity, tone, readability, grammar, and brand voice
- Able to confidently interview subject-matter experts and translate complexity into helpful, insightful, relatable and easy-to-consume content
- Experience with content strategy, editorial planning, and the customer journey in B2B contexts
- Strong knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and social media tools
- You love writing and thrive on crafting helpful, engaging content
- You’re organized, dependable, and take pride in delivering excellent work
- You ask thoughtful questions and welcome constructive feedback
- You’re energized by learning and collaborating in a fast-moving environment
- You enjoy remote work and communicate clearly and proactively
Responsibilities
- Create Clear, Compelling Written Content Across Channels
- Write emails, blog posts, social media, landing pages, and downloadable guides
- Tailor messaging for different channels and buyer stages
- Own the Editorial Calendar (Blog + Social)
- Plan deadlines, coordinate interviews, and keep content moving
- Ensure timely delivery and alignment with broader marketing campaigns
- Repurpose and Refresh Existing Content
- Turn webinars into blog and social series, repackage content for multiple uses
- Collaborate with Internal Experts
- Conduct SME interviews to extract unique insights and real-world knowledge
- Coordinate with marketing leadership to align messaging
- Maintain Our Brand Voice
- Learn and use TaxValet’s tone and style across content types
- Help build consistency across the buyer journey
- Follow Content Systems and Processes
- Use project management tools to track progress and ensure deadlines are met
- Flag blockers and communicate progress clearly
- Understand What’s Working
- Learn what types of content perform best
- Use data and feedback to improve content over time
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HubSpot and Google Analytics is a plus
Benefits
- Salary of 570,000 ZAR per annum
- Potential annual bonus competitive with market rates
- 43 days off per year. This includes 22 holidays per year, plus 21 days of PTO per year
