Requirements
- 3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in tech or a high-growth environment
- Strong understanding of technical roles and the software development lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with sourcing tools and ATS platforms (e.g. Workable)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to commit to a 6-month full-time contract
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand job role requirements, team goals, and ideal candidate profiles
- Drive end-to-end recruitment for software engineering, data science, DevOps, and other positions
- Source active and passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and other channels
- Conduct initial screening calls to assess candidates’ technical skills, experience, and culture fit
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, gather feedback, and guide hiring teams through the process
- Manage candidate communications and ensure a positive candidate experience from first touch to offer
- Maintain data integrity in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and generate recruitment reports as needed
- Support employer branding efforts as necessary during the contract period
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience hiring across time zones or globally
- Familiarity with Canadian and/or U.S. hiring regulations
- Background in scaling early-stage or startup engineering teams
