Contract Technical Project Manager

Summary

The job description is for a Technical Project Manager role at Acolad, an international leader in language solutions. Requirements

• High School Diploma or University Degree in lieu of experience
• 1-2 years of experience coordinating projects within the language services industry
• 1+ years of experience as a Python Developer
• Excellent team working and communication skills
• Proficiency in localization platforms, CAT tools, and content management systems
• Experience with connectors
• Very good analytical and organizational skills
• Experience in Python programming to write production-ready codes

Responsibilities

• Manage common and complex customer requirements
• Lead end-to-end localization projects
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality translations on time and within budget
• Utilize expertise in localization platforms and process management
• Work closely with content developers, SMEs, and external vendors
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes
• Collaborate with production teams to understand their challenges
• Study best practices from industry knowledge base
• Develop, test and maintain high-quality scripts using Python programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• Resilient in stressful situations
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and fluency in English
• Good knowledge of commonly used computer desktop applications and services (e.g MS Office)
