Project Manager Scrum Master

Summary

The job is for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager/Scrum Master to lead Integrations and Data Engineering teams remotely on a contract basis. The role includes managing cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth delivery of integration projects, and driving Agile practices within the teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master in an Agile environment, specifically with integrations and data engineering teams
• Strong familiarity with ServiceNow Visual Task Boards and their application in managing Agile projects
• Hands-on experience managing integration projects, including API integrations, middleware, and data pipelines
• In-depth understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and demonstrated success in leading Scrum teams
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a technical environment
• Familiarity with data engineering tools and processes, cloud platforms, and modern integration frameworks

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple integration and data engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery of all milestones, deliverables, and objectives
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews
• Utilize ServiceNow Visual Task Boards for tracking and managing tasks, project progress, and team workloads
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, product owners, and external partners
• Ensure that all integration solutions are robust, scalable, and meet business requirements
• Align development efforts between the Integrations and DE teams, promoting collaboration and removing impediments to ensure continuous progress
• Identify, document, and proactively mitigate risks. Escalate issues where necessary and implement solutions to avoid disruptions to project delivery
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement in project delivery, team collaboration, and Agile practices
• Generate and analyze project reports, sprint metrics, and burn-down charts to provide visibility on progress, blockers, and performance

Preferred Qualifications

Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) or equivalent experience is a plus
