Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting roles
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or management position
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
• CPA designation required
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP
• Proven track record of success in managing complex financial operations
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central or similar software
• Proficiency in data analysis and modelling tools

Responsibilities

• Financial Oversight: Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial statements and other comprehensive financial reports
• Process Optimization: Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial processes and systems
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals
• Internal Controls: Develop and establish and enforce internal controls
• Data Analytics: Utilize advanced data analytics and financial modelling techniques
• Audit Management: Coordinate and manage external audits
• Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Support tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and prepare accounting policies and complex accounting memos
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support for operational and strategic initiatives
