Requirements
- A Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field is required
- 7+ years of experience in control systems engineering, with a focus on data centers and industrial projects
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens)
- Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Experience with SCADA systems and HMI development
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
- Familiarity with control system design tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN)
- Proven experience in managing large-scale control system projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop control system architectures, including hardware and software design, for data centers and industrial projects
- Lead and manage control system projects from conception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
- Integrate control systems with existing infrastructure and ensure seamless operation
- Oversee the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure they meet project specifications and standards
- Prepare detailed documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and maintenance procedures
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to ensure project success
- Ensure all control systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in control system design and implementation
- Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team as well as with co-workers/ teammates and leaders across the organization
- Performs other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) systems preferred
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices related to control systems preferred
- Familiarity with energy management and sustainability practices in industrial settings preferred
