Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field is required
  • 7+ years of experience in control systems engineering, with a focus on data centers and industrial projects
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens)
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Experience with SCADA systems and HMI development
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
  • Familiarity with control system design tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN)
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale control system projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop control system architectures, including hardware and software design, for data centers and industrial projects
  • Lead and manage control system projects from conception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
  • Integrate control systems with existing infrastructure and ensure seamless operation
  • Oversee the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure they meet project specifications and standards
  • Prepare detailed documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and maintenance procedures
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to ensure project success
  • Ensure all control systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in control system design and implementation
  • Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team as well as with co-workers/ teammates and leaders across the organization
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) systems preferred
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices related to control systems preferred
  • Familiarity with energy management and sustainability practices in industrial settings preferred
