Requirements
- 5+ years experience in direct response copywriting (email focus)
- Proven ability to write effective B2C copy for online education
- Strong research skills to understand target audience, their problems, and how our product provides solutions
- Demonstrated ability to connect with the target audience emotionally and intellectually
- Detail-oriented with ability to deliver high-quality work, sometimes under tight deadlines and high volume
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work productively and independently as part of a remote team
Responsibilities
- Provide writing support for the Director of Marketing and other projects as needed
- Produce engaging and transformative copy for our educational products, including digital ads, landing pages, email flows, sales pages, and our marketing website
- Become intimately familiar with our target audience to craft effective messaging that resonates with them and drives them to action
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop high-converting sales funnels and messaging that adhere to our brand guidelines
- Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing and other team members to ensure copy is optimized for different channels and platforms
- Stay up-to-date with writing trends, tools, and technologies
- Provide writing support for the Director of Marketing and other projects as needed

Direct experience with homesteading and traditional skills
