Corporate Development and Ventures Senior Director

Summary

Circle is a financial technology company looking for a Corporate Development and Ventures Senior Director to drive strategic decisions and high impact opportunities across the organization. The person will be responsible for gathering intelligence from internal and external communities, advising leadership, delivering best-in-class deal execution, and developing business and integration plans for acquisition targets.

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant experience, ideally including experience in corporate development, M&A and venture investing, management consulting, gained in either corporate or investment bank / venture capital environments
• 5+ years of internal corporate deal experience, ideally with exposure to international and developing markets, working across complex deal types (joint ventures, partnerships)

Responsibilities

• Hunt for the signal amongst the noise to deliver insights, deals, and alignment towards our priorities
• Advise through excellent business judgment to enable leadership to make the best-informed decisions
• Deliver best-in-class deal execution, due diligence, and integration, aligning the organization towards our objectives
• Ensure progress and success. We track deals over time to report on our progress and learn through continuous improvement
• Develop a robust understanding of the landscape, dynamics, and trends in which we operate (financial services/technology and crypto industries), with a particular focus on international developing markets
• Find, identify, prioritize, and evaluate potential acquisition, investment, joint venture, and partnership opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite

Benefits

• Base Pay Range: $195,000 - $252,500
• Annual Bonus Target: 20%
