Summary

The job is for a Senior Director role at Sagana Consulting, a global impact investment advisory firm. The position involves leading projects related to climate impact through investment, managing multiple projects simultaneously, building relationships with stakeholders, and generating new business for the company. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years in a consulting firm, experience developing and growing climate projects in emerging markets, and proven project management skills.

Requirements

• Have at least 10 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years actively working in a well-established consulting firm
• Experience developing and growing climate projects in emerging markets working with catalytic capital such as foundations, corporations, and other global actors
• Experience working with culturally diverse client and colleague teams is necessary!
• Proven project management skills in growing complex projects with multiple and diverse stakeholders
• Thrive in an entrepreneurial culture. You get things done, pay attention to details as well as strategy and dive deep into the work when necessary. You like to build new ventures and your commitment to quality is unwavering
• Skilled communicator, both written and oral. Comprehensive presentation and facilitation skills. Fearless in delivering complex messages
• Fluency in English. Knowledge of other languages is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Proactively lead projects related to climate impact through investment, including themes such as adaptation and resilience, just transition, and mitigation
• Ensure high-quality, on-time delivery across multiple projects at once, by building and directing workplans, timelines and budgets
• Effectively develop and deepen relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders – both to execute on projects and to build Sagana’s network
• Bring new relationships and strengthen existing client relationships that generate new business for Sagana. Write proposals and pitch new projects to both existing and new clients
