Summary

Join Planful's Corporate FP&A team as a highly motivated Manager. You will partner with stakeholders to manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for various departments. This role requires leading cross-functional projects, effective communication, and thriving in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include owning long-range planning processes, conducting financial analysis, developing financial models, maintaining the Planful instance, delivering timely reports, ensuring budget adherence, and collaborating with the Accounting team. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in Corporate FP&A, and strong analytical and collaborative skills. Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with 2+ years in Corporate FP&A - investment banking, private equity, consulting, high-growth start-up, or public tech company
  • Skilled in developing efficient and scalable processes
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic, initiative, ownership and drive
  • Strong passion and adaptability to learn different parts of the business
  • Exceptional analytical skills & technical/business acumen; high capacity to synthesize data & insights
  • A proven ability to build strong and collaborative working relationships with business partners
  • Prior experience with Planful or similar planning tools

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage long-range, annual, and live forecast planning processes for various departments
  • Strategically support ongoing financial analysis, including monthly/quarterly budget variance analyses at company-wide and department levels
  • Collaborate with different teams to develop financial models in order to support the business in key decision-making
  • Maintain and optimize our Planful instance ensuring that it is set up correctly, updated regularly, and aligned with business needs
  • Deliver timely reporting and analysis to management, highlighting key trends and opportunities for expense optimization
  • Partner with teams to ensure budget adherence, forecast accuracy, and identify efficiency gains
  • Work closely with the Accounting team to provide support and guidance on financial reporting
