Summary

Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on fintech, SaaS, or technology sectors
- Demonstrated experience with fintech regulations, data privacy laws, and software licensing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Offer legal advice on matters related to fintech regulations, SaaS agreements, data privacy, and intellectual property
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including software licensing agreements, service agreements, and partnership contracts
- Advise on compliance with financial regulations, data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and cybersecurity standards
- Support corporate governance and internal policies, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and best practices
- Provide legal counsel on mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues and mitigate risks associated with technology and business operations
- Represent the company in legal proceedings or negotiations as necessary
- Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting the fintech and SaaS industries
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal compliance training programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with fintech-specific regulations and compliance issues
- Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in the fintech and SaaS industries
- Prior experience advising on international data protection regulations
