Requirements

• Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum completion of two years or more of college preferred prior to the start of your internship
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S
• Able to work full-time during the 10-week internship experience beginning May 19, 2025, to July 25, 2025

Responsibilities

• Apply academic knowledge to gain industry experience
• Collaborate with fellow interns on a meaningful project to present at the end of your internship
• Access professional development opportunities and learning material
• Gain clarity on academic and career goals
• Assimilate into a corporate team environment
• Attend the week-long Internship Summit at Greif’s corporate headquarters in Delaware, Ohio
• Prepare tax returns in tax software
• Work with tax software
• Understand Domestic and compliance tax process and global taxes

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong academic background, with a preferred GPA of 3.5 or above
• Relevant internship, work experience, or involvement with professional clubs/organizations
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Curiosity and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, time management, analytical, and adaptability skills
• Commitment to on-time performance in all responsibilities
• Strong excel skills
• Microsoft Office Skills
• Effective time management skills
• Able to work in a team environment
• Experience with tax or general ledger software is a plus
